Build a Hero Formation
MISSION:
Heroes-in-training must work together to design and form powerful superhero symbols, poses, and team formations. This challenge focuses on teamwork, communication, creativity, and coordination to prove heroes are ready for collaborative missions.
Getting Started:
Divide students into small teams of 4–6 heroes.
Assign each team a formation challenge such as a lightning bolt, shield, star, letter, or superhero team emblem.
Teams discuss and plan how to use their bodies safely to create the formation.
Heroes move into position to form the assigned shape or pose.
GAMEPLAY TWISTS:
Once the formation is complete, heroes must hold their pose for 5–10 seconds to activate their power.
Silent Build: Teams must build their formation without speaking, using only gestures and eye contact.
Timed Assembly: Teams have 60 seconds to plan and complete their formation before time runs out.
Villain Disruption: An instructor announces a “villain alert,” requiring teams to freeze instantly in their formation.
HERO HUDDLE:
Teams present their formations to the group and explain what their symbol or pose represents. Celebrate with a group power-up chant or superhero stance.
