SUPERHERO KITE

Students will decorate and assemble a simple white paper kite inspired by superhero symbols and powers.

Instructor demonstrates:

• How to fold and tape a basic paper kite

• How to securely attach a single string tail

Campers decorate their kites using:

• Superhero logos, lightning bolts, stars, masks, or capes

• Their own superhero name and power

After building, students attach a string and run with their kite to see if it will go airborne. Pause to make adjustments and test again while other students finish their design work.
