HEROIC RESCUE

1. Assign one or two of the students as villains (red pinnies), one or two as heroes (blue pinnies), and one or three as citizens. Set a home base that citizens must return to.

2. Citizens spread out over the playing field and freeze.

3. Heroes must dodge villains, tag frozen citizens, and shout Power Up! to free them!

4. If a villain touches a citizen outside of home base, they are frozen until a hero touches them again.

5. Get all citizens to home base to win!

6. Play several games so everyone gets to play each role.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

• Cones to mark the play area

• Pinnies

• Open play space
