SUPERHERO CHARADES
OBJECTIVE:
Students act out a word or phrase without talking, while their teammates guess the answer.
SETUP:
Divide students into 2–4 teams (try to keep teams similar in size).
Have teams sit or stand together in separate areas.
Have an instructor work with each team to play the game.
HOW TO PLAY:
Step 1: Choose the Actor
Send one student to the acting space.
The student quietly receives a charades clue from the instructor.
Step 2: Act It Out
The actor has 30–60 seconds to act out the clue.
No talking, no sounds, no letters or numbers in the air.
Big movements and silly actions are encouraged!
Step 3: Guess
Everyone may guess during the time limit.
If someone correctly before time runs out, they get to go next, otherwise the instructor picks the next person.
Celebrate everyone’s effort, not just the winning team.
