Paper Airplane Folding

• Have students sit at desks with materials ready. Model each step at the front.

• Guide students to fold the paper in half lengthwise, then open it.

• Demonstrate folding the top two corners to the center line.

• Ask students to fold the edges down again to the center for a stronger nose.

• Help students fold the paper in half along the center line.

• Show how to fold both sides down evenly to create wings.

• Give 2–3 minutes for students to decorate their airplanes.

• Move to an open space and let students gently test their airplanes.

REFLECTION:

• Ask: Which airplane flew the farthest? What can you change to improve it?
