Moon Base Construction

Goal: Build a stable moon base using 12 stacking cups that can hold a beanbag on the top cup for 10 seconds.

MATERIALS:

• 12 plastic cups per team

• Flat floor or table surface

CHALLENGE RULES:

• Only one cup may be placed at a time.

• Team members must take turns adding cups.

• Once the structure is complete, Mission Control counts aloud to 10.

• If the structure falls before 10 seconds:

  • The team resets and tries again.
